The management of Shakti Peeth Shri Naina Devi ji is being established by Himachal Pradesh Government since 17th December 1985 by a Trust under the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment Act 1984. Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur is the Commissioner of the Temple Trust, SDM, Shri Naina Devi is the Chairman and the Temple officer the secretary. Before the temple trust, the management of the temple was run by the Local Temple Committee.
The Temple Trust has constructed free Langar for the convenience of the travelers, and Dharamshalas like Matruanchal, Matruchhaya, Matrusharan, Matrisadan and Patiala Dharamshala for night stay. The arrangement of drinking water and toilets for the passengers has been made by the trust on the way from Kaulan Wala Toba to the temple.
A stadium has been constructed near the cave for the convenience of the travelers and the local priests. High mast light arrangements have been made by the trust in Shri Naina Devi Ji. In addition to Chaitra, Gupt Navratras throughout the year, fairs like Shravan- Ashtami fair, New Year and Holi etc. are organized by the trust with great pomp and grandeur. Ayurvedic dispensary has also been built by the temple trust.
The trust has constructed rain showers and cloak rooms on the way to the temple to protect the pilgrims from sun and rain. The ropeway has been constructed by Ganpati Company till the cave for the convenience of the passengers from the bus stand which is fifteen (15) kilometers above the Bhakra road. Travelers get to enjoy the beautiful view of nature by sitting in ‘Udan Khatola’ (Ropeway).
Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya’ (Sanskrit College) and Senior Secondary School are being run by the Temple Trust for the development of Indian traditions and culture. The temple trust has made a provision to provide money and scholarships for girls belonging to poor families to get married and to get higher education.
According to the guidelines of the state government, special grant money is also been provided by the trust to the cow shelters every year and grants are also given to the Chief Minister Relief fund for disaster management from time to time. The temple trust is operating multi-projects for the protection of Indian culture and for public welfare. May the blessings of Maa Shri Naina Devi ji always be with humankind.
